Rely is seeking a Financial Accounting Manager for a permanent role for Rely and other entities such as a soon to open Cannabis dispensary, a commercial Real Estate company and an investment company.
Salary DOELocation : Our corporate office in Schaumburg, IllinoisJob Type : Full-time / Monday to Friday 8am to 5 : 00pmOnsite – NO REMOTE Job Details : Financial planning budgeting forecasting and Mergers and acquisitionsOversees the processing of all invoicing, QuickBooks, reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, budgeting, payrolls, administration of all payroll and timekeeping systems (including sick and vacation plans), and all federal, state, and local agency filings and deposits.
Responsible for ensuring that compliance updates and concerns are implemented and / or investigated and resolved.Experience to handle vendor and credit card payments and reconciliation process.
Oversee the financial health of multiple ventures spanning Technology, Real Estate, Retail, specifically Cannabis Retail.
Partners with other company business departments to establish processes for banking functions relating to payment programs such as ACH returns, wire transfers and account reconciliation.
Entering a new employee hire data in the Paychex system, generating the offer letter and tracking commissions, bonuses, etc.
Ensures that direct reports are following established processes.Oversee the administration of wage garnishments and audits.
Responsible for ensuring that balances period-end reports are completed within established processes and guidelines, including but limited to established compliance and manage financial analysis of the organization.
Provide Profit and Loss Reports over several business entities, prepare budgets and forecast for Sr. ManagementManage 5 individuals split between corporate and an offshore Accounting team QualificationsEducation & Experience : Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field of study preferred or equivalent work experience.
A multistate payroll experience preferred.Ability to manage a team, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.Ability to provide guidance and input utilized for processes and guidelines that impact the day-to-day functions of the Payroll team.
Ability to utilize a computer and other office equipment. Understands the processes and procedures for ensuring accurate payrolls are processed in compliance with company guidelines and government rules and regulations, including, ACH processing, garnishments, tax filings, accounting, benefits, retirement, etc.Paychex experience is a plus
