Redi Carpet Looking for Accounts Payable Associate at Stafford, TX Full Time

Position Summary

Accounts Payable personnel primary responsibilities include receiving, posting and paying vendor invoices.

Recent college graduates and part-time students are encouraged to apply!

The Redi Carpet Corporate office is located in Stafford, TX. Applicants for this job must be willing to work at this location.

Responsibilities – (include, but not limited to the following)

• Support Company branches accounts payable needs
• Match vendor invoices to purchase orders and post in accounting system
• Review vendor invoices for correct pricing
• Obtain approval signatures on all invoices prior to paying
• Process check requests
• Setup new vendors in accounting system
• Prepare Accounts Payable checks
• Maintain Accounts Payable filing system

Important Goals and Deadlines

• Invoice discount deadlines must be met
• Invoices must be posted as received
• A/P checks are prepared and submitted for signature each week

Qualifications

• MS Excel and MS Word experience strongly preferred
• Accounting related studies preferred
• Must be detail oriented
• Strong organization skills required
• Accurate data entry skills required
