Description
The Finance Manager support local ministry/entity leadership teams and may serve on local leadership committees as assigned. Responsible for financial analysis and modeling in order to evaluate the effectiveness of new programs and to propose recommendations for achieving financial goals and budgetary targets. Additionally, to provide financial analysis for strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting and to develop analytical reports to assist in enhancing process improvements and in increasing efficiencies. May also serve as a resource to clinical service line leaders. Other responsibilities may include development of financial plans, budgets, and support for month-end review of financial statements and other assistance as required.
Responsibilities:
Carries out the mission, vision and values of Providence St. Joseph Health; assists local finance leadership in managing costs against budgets.
Provide support to local leadership teams in developing and reviewing annual budgets for ministries assigned; complete or assist in completing periodic forecasting of ministry results.

Review and participate in local capital budgeting and proforma analysis of appropriate investment.
Assist local leaders in interpreting and developing plans to analyze clinical service lines (may include institute financial reporting and value oriented architecture analysis).
Support leaders in analyzing and developing plans in relationship to Insights (costing) data and productivity data.
Provide direction in accomplishing mission sustainability efforts including tracking results of such work.
Create and manipulate queries and reports, including exporting information to Excel.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree – Accounting or Finance related field or equivalent combination of education/experience
5 years Finance experience.
