Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) Looking for Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist at United States, Michigan, Canton Full Time

Candidates for this role should have prior experience related to these duties and responsibilities which are common for this role:

• Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
• Responsible for inputting and indexing invoices into ERP System
• Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries.
• Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal id numbers, scheduling, and preparing checks, and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation.
• Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos.
• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.
• Works with Accounting Manager and/or Controller to review customer account applications and works to get all applicable information from customers.
• Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts.
• Works with the Accounting team to assist in setting up sales tax rates as needed.
• Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger.
• Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Candidates should also have an advanced educational level of an Associate’s Degree or higher, preferably in an accounting related field.

2 or more years of relevant and professional work experience in a related position is also expected.

Candidates should also be experienced using common Accounting / ERP computer database systems as well as have advanced level Microsoft Excel skills.
