As a Finance Manager within PNC’s C&IB Finance Organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA supporting the Business Credit line of business.
This position is primarily based in a location within PNC’s footprint. Preferred locations are listed in this requisition. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities can be performed remotely. Additional locations may be considered.
Corporate & Institutional Banking (C&IB) Finance is a diverse and engaged team committed to providing C&IB executive and senior management strategic counsel, meaningful reporting and analysis and critical insights into business and financial metrics to drive results. Our ultimate goal is to bring reliable information, insight and value to each of the constituents we serve, including internal PNC executive management, investors, external audit and regulatory agencies.
This role within the Business Credit Finance team will manage a small team of individual contributors. The position is a key leadership role for the Business Credit Finance team with high visibility to the executives leading PNC Business Credit and to broader C&IB Finance leadership. The ideal candidate will have a blend of finance and accounting experience, possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to drive results through working collaboratively with our team and the business we support.
This role involves supporting the PNC Business Credit line of business by providing the following services:
• Management Reporting
• Budgeting/Forecasting
• Strategic Plan
• CCAR
• Accounting, External Reporting and Regulatory Requirements
• Business Support/Ad Hoc Request.
Job Description
Manages and oversees a variety of financial management and accounting services. Works to create a high performing inclusive team. Generally manages a smaller team supporting a business sub-segment or functional unit.
Manages information to support quarterly and annual external reports and preparation of internal financial and business metric reports. Reviews and comments on quarterly and annual public filings. Reviews and interprets financial reports to inform business decisions.
Manages and produces annual budget process and monthly forecast updates. Manages strategic planning process. Identifies ways to outperform.
Structures and manages performance monitoring and communications appropriately and delivery of ad hoc finance and accounting analysis including management accounting analysis. Works closely with Accounting Policy on new accounting standard adoptions affecting their business. Performs/Reviews technical accounting research and documentation on issues affecting their business.
Structures and monitors the preparation of reports and analysis in response to requests and requirements of auditors, regulators, and investors. Communicates directly with external constituents. May also contribute to risk review and challenge for assigned business. Promptly identifies and addresses control matters; maintains sound control processes. Prepares/Reviews Stress testing projections and associated documentation for their business including performing model and non-model reviews.

Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. At least 3 years of prior management experience is typically required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
