About The Role
Our Financial Services Customer Success Managers guide customers through a digital transformation for their sustainability initiatives. The objective will be to drive business and technical value for customers in varying maturity stages of their environmental sustainability journey. You will also partner with various levels of the organization ranging from C-suite leaders, data analysts, operational leaders and investment managers to ensure widespread platform expertise.
Experience in a Financial Services environment, sustainability consulting, customer success, and/or in-house sustainability management is required.
Responsibilities
Have an in depth understanding of the Persefoni Finance product to foster customer engagement and user adoption
Immediate value creation & solution-based problem solving with customers to ensure quick onboarding
Lead project management and defining successful customer journeys for various objectives (reporting to TCFD, CDP, SASB, or SBTi, goal setting, audit/assurance, etc.)
Help organizations create specific strategies to improve applicable data sources, connect data to Persefoni, and understand the calculated outcomes in the platform
Define the strategic direction for customers with expertise in sustainability frameworks (PCAF and/or GHGP)
Build and maintain strong customer relationships resulting in best-in-industry customer retention
Collaborate with key internal stakeholders from product, climate analytics, data, marketing, sales, and engineering teams to create a continuous communication channel representing the voice of the customer
Provide coaching and best practices to customers to increase adoption of a rapidly evolving SaaS platform
Interface with third party auditors, assurance providers, key partners and consultants on an as-needed basis
Build upon processes, talent density and communal knowledge of the sustainability landscape internally
Qualifications (What you bring to the role):
3+ years in a customer facing consulting, enablement or sustainability leadership role (preferably in SaaS; education is considered in addition to experience)
3+ years of relevant work experience within a financial institution (Bank, Private Equity, Asset Management, etc.) or industry service provider is highly valued
Preferred experience applying recognized ESG/sustainability frameworks and standards (PCAF, GHGP, TCFD or similar) in a Financial Services environment
Knowledge of sustainable finance topics including ESG investing; net-zero financed emissions; ESG reporting, analytics and modeling; ESG impact assessment; sustainable growth and portfolio strategy
Four-year degree from an accredited institution – MSc, or additional designations (CPA, CFA, etc.) a plus
Preferred certifications and/or knowledge on standard setters like WRI, ISO, GHGP, SBTi, TCFD, VRF, etc. are highly valued
Strong business acumen with the ability to present and explain technical information to various customer stakeholders – To include PCAF, GHGP, carbon accounting, sustainability disclosure and software as a service
Ability to work across multi-functional teams with competing priorities while still delivering key objectives within given time constraints
Prior experience creating GHG inventories and working knowledge of creating specific GHG disclosures, including financed emissions is a plus
Excellent communication, relationship management, and decision-making skills

Articulate how Persefoni incorporates carbon accounting standards and sustainability reporting frameworks within our platform in your first 3 months.
You will demonstrate proficiency in the Persefoni platform and deliver an amazing customer onboarding experience in the first 3 months.
You will be capable of using Persefoni systems (including Salesforce, ChurnZero, Zendesk, and others) to appropriately track and report on relevant customer activities and information within your first 3 months
You will ensure customer health is high for renewal purposes and mitigate any risk on the account that could result in churn within your first 3 months.
