Job Description
The Arlington Finance Manager role provides multi-site financial leadership across the Arlington plant & the network of 3 US distribution centers.
Leading a team of 6 professionals, the role directly supports the Arlington Plant Director, the DC Director & their teams. The role leads the Annual Operating Plan, actuals & forecast processes, manages the Quarterly Business Reviews with the PGCS GM & CFO, drives the capital appropriation request process, manages the control environment, and drives execution to meet operating & non-operating KPIs.
Primary Accountabilities:Planning & Forecasting:
Responsible for Arlington & US DCs operating budget for overheads, COGS efficiency, capital expenditure & inventory, supplying concentrate to bottlers across the North America, Lipton Joint venture & Mexico markets
Lead FP&A processes: Annual Operating Plan, quarterly forecasts & actuals performance analysis across P&L and balance sheet
Oversea capital investment requests & lead the productivity agenda in partnership with site management teams
Ensure financial best practices are rolled out & continuous improvement is sought
Operate as the finance partner for the operations team as a member of the Arlington leadership team, supporting functional initiatives beyond the finance agenda
Financial Reporting & Operations Accounting:
Monitor all accounting transaction for the relevant entities for accuracy & reasonability, closing period end reporting accurately in line with close timelines.
Responsible for accounts payable & supporting partnership with the central PGCS accounts receivable team
Ensure integrity of all processes that directly & indirectly support financial reporting throughout the relevant legal entities
Financial Controls & Compliance:
This role is a steward for company assets (fixed & inventory) & is responsible for developing & maintaining a control environment in accordance with PepsiCo policy.
Liaise with external & internal auditors in support of their requirements, act as point person for communication & resolution of accounting, reporting & control issues. Ensure compliance with all applicable PepsiCo & Local regulations & standards
Comply with all risk monitoring activities (Global Control Standard, Risk Control Matrix, rep letter), with appropriate assessments, communication & management of financial risks across P&L & Balance Sheet, to ensure the integrity of operations & accuracy of financial data.
Leadership:
Staff, onboard, develop & retain high caliber finance talent
Clarify roles, set performance standard & goals, coaching the team to deliver against objectives
Role model PepsiCo values & create a motivating & rewarding work environment
As a key member of the site leadership team, support initiatives beyond the finance agenda
Represent PepsiCo as the business liaison in external commercial & regulatory forums
In addition, this role supports key transformational projects across PGCS & provides analytics & reporting to make the right operating decisions across the business

Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors degree in a relevant finance field
6+ years experience in accounting, financial analysis, planning & forecasting
This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA or MBA strongly preferred
Significant communication & influencing skills across all levels & functions. Network & relationship management is critical to success in the role
Balancing competing priorities & engaging with senior executives
Excellent technical skills in interpreting data sets, drawing conclusions & providing insights with compelling storytelling & visualization skills to executive level
Proven leadership experience with effective delegation & time management, to manage & motivate a diverse workforce in an inclusive manner
Agility to problem solve & adapt in a fast-paced environment both operationally & strategically
Previous operations finance experience, delivering through authentic partnerships with peer functions
Project management & change management experience are an advantage
Digital skills & working knowledge of visualization / analytics tools an advantage (SAP, BI, Business Planning & Consolidation, Tableau)
