POSITION SUMMARY:
The selected candidate will conduct accounting and financial planning and analysis of multiple operating entities.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare financial statements, annual plans and forecasts, and other management and/or statutory reporting, including analyzing results of operations and communicating written analysis
- Analyze and process job costs and/or accounting transactions in accordance with internal control procedures and company policies
- Understand and apply all necessary accounting guidance, laws and/or contract terms as applicable to processing of accounting and financial transactions
- Prepare and review journal entries
- Participate in the year-end audit process
- Special projects and analysis as needed
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in accounting strongly preferred
- 1-3 years in a related environment
- Demonstrated ability to analyze issues and recommend solutions
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
- Fluency in Excel and accounting systems
Salary Range for this role is expected to be between $65k – $70k.
