The Position: As a Finance Manager you will lead and direct the Financial Planning and Analysis Team while ensuring the integrity of financial records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance and aligning activities with company policies, procedures, and objectives. You will also analyze financial statements, prepare reports, and make recommendations to management.

Requirements / Expectations of the Finance Manager:

• Post-Secondary Degree in Finance or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in increasingly complex roles.
• Knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis acquired through related work experience in increasingly complex roles.
• Solid team development and management skills; Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills to evaluate financial results and projections and mine through data.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and database management tools.

Job Responsibilities of theFinance Manager:

• Leads, plans, directs and coordinates the team activities with investing, banking, insurance, security, and other financial activities.
• Leads the management and preparation of forecasting for income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow on a monthly, quarterly and annual basic.
• Assists upper management in the planning, organizing, and managing of the annual financial planning processes.
• Drives process and continuous improvement to increase overall quality and efficiency of analysis, which includes proactive modeling and analysis tools.
• Analyzes product line profit and loss statements, including the cost of sales and operating expenses.
• Ensures the integrity of financial records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Manages staff selection, performance, development, and training processes to ensure team competencies and capabilities to reach the business goals and expectations
• Other responsibilities as assigned
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and additional hours as necessary (work schedule is 4/10, off every Friday).

Compensation: $120,000 – $125,000/year plus annual bonus and benefits
