Established Residential Home Builder in Salem, OR looking to hire a highly organized, detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team. Finance Manager will provide accounting leadership in all major financial accounting areas, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger accounting, Payroll, and Bank Reconciliation, as well as keeping complete and accurate finance records.

Key Job Responsibilities:

· Provide fiduciary oversight of the finance department and general accounting activities to ensure standard operating procedures are followed and financial results are accurately recorded.

· Validate the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.

· Provide guidance/counsel to the management team to ensure company is meeting financial goals.

· Provide leadership to our team of finance professionals.

· Process monthly and semi-monthly payrolls.

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial concepts developed through a minimum 2 years of post-high school education, and 3+ years of demonstrated experience building, leading, managing, and coaching a team within the finance field.
• Experience processing full company Payroll (ADP experience helpful).
• Critical thinker with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism.
• Possess and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage projects with high levels of complexity while maintaining excellent attention to detail and outstanding organization skills.
• Experience and knowledge of the Residential Construction Industry and Job Cost Accounting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Tech savvy with the ability to learn industry specific accounting software system (previous use of accounting systems other than QuickBooks a plus)
