Paramount Looking for Finance Manager, Streaming at New York, NY Full Time

Overview & Responsibilities:
The Manager will help co-ordinate and liaise with the FP&A and Streaming teams throughout Paramount International in order to deliver efficient and effective FP&A processes and outputs. The person in this role can be located in NY, San Francisco, Los Angeles or near any of Paramount’s offices.

• Support Financial Planning & Analytical processes across all of Paramount International (including P+, Pluto TV and Other SVOD)
• Develops open communication and positive relationships with leadership, operations and finance, including the FP&A COEs (Centers of Excellence)
• Works in collaboration with the systems teams to ensure the correct analytical tools supports the reporting processes

Process:

• Support all Streaming planning processes including outlooks, monthly forecasts, annual budgets and long-range plans, for both the P&L and non-financial metrics.
• Provision of detailed guidance & instruction outlining the processes and deliverables
• Management and communication of the Streaming planning calendar ensuring co-ordination with Paramount International (Corporate and Finance teams), Paramount Global (Corporate and Finance teams) and local businesses
• Deliver timely, accurate, and effective analysis and reporting of financial performance
• Work with the business to constantly identify and monitor risks & opportunities
• Work closely with systems team to ensure that processes are automated where possible and to optimize the support received

Presentation & Reporting:

• Creation, and ongoing improvement, of all planning and analytical presentation decks and supporting schedules for management purposes
• Reporting to senior management, both in Paramount International and International Streaming, in regular forecast updates
• Co-ordination with other finance teams where needed to provide deeper level of understanding of practical drivers

Support & ad hoc project work:

• Work with the COEs (Centre of Excellence) to help them understand reporting requirements and systems
• Work with COEs to help integrate/apply new systems or feature to improve current COE processes
• Support the design of prioritizing and reporting new GL hierarchies or lines of business, master governance as it relates to Streaming
• Support adhoc projects relating to Streaming
• Point of contact for COE analysts for additional Streaming FP&A related support

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Financial experience in media, entertainment, technology, internet or similiar industry in a fast paced environment
• International experience required

Additional Qualifications:

• MBA, CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA are preferred
• Confidence in building relationships with all levels of management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Commercially focused with a client service approach
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Organized with strength in prioritization
• Flexible work ethic to achieve results. Positive outlook and ambition
