The Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist develops content that advances the goals and objectives of key marketing and communications strategic initiatives. The position supports communications for multiple digital platforms, including myOverlake (the employee intranet), the consumer-facing website (overlakehospital.org), internal e-newsletter, content marketing articles and social media properties. The position requires exceptional writing skills and a solid understanding of web/digital best practices, including writing for SEO, conducting content audits and experience implementing and measuring digital communication strategies. This role involves working with colleagues across the organization on integrated communications and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of three years of related digital marketing communications experience required. Prior work in the healthcare field a plus.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills; knowledge of Associated Press style. Ability to manage numerous stakeholder relationships and competing priorities. Ability to tailor content to intended audience, with a keen understanding of translating complicated concepts simply and clearly, including communicating difficult or sensitive information tactfully. Understanding of web content management systems (Drupal experience a plus). Strategic and creative skills in project management, writing and presentation. Forward-looking, hardworking and highly motivated self-starter with an aptitude for organization, prioritization and storytelling. Ability to work independently as well as on a team. Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Flexible, interpersonal, organizational and cross-cultural collaboration skills needed to work in a fast-paced environment.
