The Accounting department has an opening for a full-time Accounting Associate position located in our main campus (30th and L). The schedule will be 40 hours per week; generally, Monday €“ Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
To apply internally for a position, employees must:
– Be in their current position for at least six months.
– Not have any disciplinary action within the last six months.
Employees are required to notify their current supervisor of their intent to apply for an internal position.
The Accounting Associate serves as a support to the Finance department for all financial functions of OneWorld Community Health Centers. The Accounting Associate will assist with reconciling cash accounts, pharmacy inventory, and other receivables/ payables on a monthly basis. They will also perform day to day general ledger work and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business or related field preferred. Relevant, professional experience will be considered.
Proficiency in the use of accounting, spreadsheet, and other business software preferred. Proficiency in Excel required.
Demonstrated skills initiating, organizing, and completing tasks with moderate to minimal supervision.
Demonstrated results exercising discretion and judgment, consistently meeting deadlines, handling rush projects, handling multiple priorities, and meeting time constraints.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with diverse individuals and groups.
Punctual and reliable attendance at the assigned work location.
