The Card Fraud & Vendor Execution Manager is the main point of contact, subject-matter expert, and a liaison between Card Fraud Management and fraud vendor(s) for all fraud and claims processes managed by the vendor(s). This team member will be accountable for measuring vendor performance, controls, and customer experience. Reporting to the VP/Director Cards Services, the Card Fraud & Vendor Execution Manager will partner with key internal stakeholders and the vendor to define – and design – the target state for vendor-managed fraud and claims processes. The role holder will also have accountability to build a mature, scalable vendor governance model, document vendor processes, and identify training needs.
Responsibilities
Develop a scorecard/baseline for the vendor(s) based on OneMain Financial performance expectations
Perform quality assurance (listen to calls, review performance reports, etc.)
Use data-driven insights to proactively propose solutions to further improve fraud & claims processes
Hold accountability for the implementation of improvements
Own and maintain fraud and claims-related vendor documentation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years’ fraud management experience in financial services and/or fraud & claims vendor oversight or third-party engagement oversight
A strong working knowledge of fraud management (eg, Prevention, Detection, Servicing, Strategy, Claims and Chargebacks)
Proven track record of working cross-functionally to navigate complex challenges that lead to tangible results
Preferred experience in a credit card or financial services startup environment, owning large pieces of process end to end
