One Legacy Looking for Staff Accountant at United States, California, Los Angeles Full Time

OneLegacy, the non-profit organ and tissue recovery organization serving the seven counties of the greater Los Angeles area, has an immediate opening for a Full Time Staff Accountant in the Los Angeles office.

Position Description: This position will report to the Accounting & Finance Manager. The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting in the preparation of journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, managing sub ledgers, performing month end closing functions, assisting in preparation of financial reports and assisting in the cash disbursement process for OneLegacy and OneLegacy Foundation under the guidance of the Accounting & Finance Manager. This position shall be a subject matter expert in the use of accounting systems and have expertise in the use of Excel spreadsheets.

Qualifications: BA/BS in Business or BBA with an emphasis in Accounting required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related position preferred. OneLegacy requires employees to maintain a current California driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
