Director of Finance
Description
Director of Finance will serve as the leader of Oesterlen’s financial department. The position will provide financial planning and analytics to CEO and board of directors to achieve strategic objectives. The individual will thrive in a deadline-oriented environment. The Director will track, report, analyze, and present financial and operational metrics to determine operational efficiency, staffing needs, productivity, trends, etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Prepare a monthly presentation for CEO of organization’s financial performance compared to budget and prior year including financials and bridges of the drivers as well as other exhibits.
Leads all financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
Managed a growing finance department.
Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Builds and manages monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts.
Advises on capital and private fundraising strategies.
Develops strategies to increase return on investment and profitability.
Oversees and reviews accounting tasks, including payroll, taxes, and compliance.
Present financial reports to executives, board members and other key stakeholders.
Collaborates with the executives and directors to create budgets and track key performance indicators (KPI’s).
Meets deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
Knows and adheres to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rules and regulations.
Create and update forecasts for monthly and multi-year P&L’s and cash forecasts
Liaison to majority partner to provide necessary requests
Develop and monitor the annual budget process including setting timelines and acting as project manager as well as completion of schedules in advance culminating in the presentation for the CEO to ensure budget is comprehensive and targeted dates are met.
Deliver a monthly line of business P&L by health plan for discussion with customer team
Compile presentations of key financial comparisons on a quarterly basis
Support certain specific functions by providing monthly administrative costs comparisons, developing annual budgets and ad hoc analysis
Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified and to assist with various ad hoc projects as needed.

JOB Qualifications:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED
BA or BS in Finance or Accounting from a recognized university.
5-7 years minimum accounting and financial experience, covering a variety of areas
Proficiency in Excel as well as other MS Office software packages
Experience in partnering with an executive team
PREFERRED
MBA
3-5 years of work experience in the health care or insurance industry
Healthcare related financial expertise

Pay: $57,500.00 – $84,860.00 per year
