NOW CFO Hiring for Director of Finance Job at Chattanooga, TN Full Time

Now CFO is seeking an experienced hands-on Controller to join our client’s team as a long-term fit. The company was founded in 1989 and is in the Non-Profit Mental Health Industry. This position offers a highly team-oriented environment and the opportunity to make a positive difference in transitioning individuals’ lives.

The Controller works with staff in developing, implementing, and providing ongoing financial oversight and grant management, ensuring the appropriate use and accurate reporting of all financial transactions. Attention to detail is essential.

To be successful at this role you will need experience in: Cost Accounting, and US GAAP.

Responsibilities:

• Enter, process accounts payable transactions.
• Enter, process Payroll bi-weekly
• Enter, process bank deposits as needed.
• Assist and complete bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate general ledger, month-end and year end closing process.
• Consistently use analytical mindset to complete RP&A.
• Utilize cost accounting skills.
• Meet with Board of Directors and leadership to go over financial data.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Accounting/Finance.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• QuickBooks Online – 2+ years exp.
• Cost Accounting – 2+ years exp.
• Non-Profit – 1+ years exp.
