Position Title : Manager, Customer Strategy and Planning

Reports to : Sr. Manager, Customer Strategy and Planning
The role of the Manager, Customer Strategy and Planning is to have a deep understanding of assigned customers and their market to identify business-building opportunities;
work cross functionally to deliver sales and profit results through commercialization of the overarching business strategies to the customer and to help guide future business decisions.
This individual will be responsible for working with the enterprise sales leaders across Newell Brands to assist in the development and execution of Club business growth strategies for the Home segment.

Responsibilities :
Define and support channel and customer specific strategies and execution for assigned Club book of business
Support Sales team in identifying and progressing new distribution opportunities to advance market position
Develop assortment principles that build share and improve profitability
Customer P&L ownership in conjunction with pricing team to align on profitable growth opportunities and promotions
Leads annual planning process, inclusive of bottoms up sales forecasting, building blocks for key drivers and risks / opportunities
Represent voice of customer internally, represent voice of company externally; always seeking to drive objective alignment
Responsible for Sales Planning Call as an input to S&OP cycle specifically at DRM. Focus on driving improvements to forecast accuracy and attainment
Identify and recommend action plans based on analysis and understanding of data resources and analytics to monitor + / – to POS / share
Own and maintain Strategic Customer Segmentation
Support customer engagements, including line reviews, joint business planning, and trade shows
Collaborate with Supply Chain team on customer specific demand review meetings to improve forecast accuracy
Work with the Brand and Category Development teams to lead and develop playbooks by category to enable opportunities with customer base across assigned book of business
