Altman Management Company is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team!
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for:
A) processing invoices and check requests for approximately 20 apartment communities,
B) maintaining vendor database, and
C) coordinating maintenance of the vendor database with other accounts payable associates. For research, management and IRS reporting purposes, and capture all information for a particular vendor under one vendor code.
There is significant interaction with property accountants and community managers, as well as periodic communication with banks.
Performs a variety of accounting tasks related to the full cycle of processing payable account records, invoices, payment to vendors, etc.
