As Director SnackFutures (Portfolio and Finance), you will be responsible for leading the accelerated growth and development of a portfolio of companies in which Mondelez has an equity stake. You will work with the Founders and their Management teams and deploy best practice in the end-to-end management of the businesses and coordinate both Snack Futures team members as well as other Mondelez SME’s and external partners to help the portfolio companies benefit from the expertise and value add of Mondelez. You will also lead the building of business cases for follow-on and new investments, ensuring that the right amount of rigor and analysis is applied to the financial case and the various performance indicators that support it.
Job Description
How you will contribute:
Direct and ensure strong governance of the portfolio companies.
Partner with Founders, their management teams and Mondelez colleagues and agencies to deliver business performance.
Report and communicate on portfolio performance.
Build and execute a high-quality approach to building compelling business cases.
Support Mondelez ‘s scouting efforts by engaging in the early-stage eco-system and building relationships with companies that are in the pipeline for potential investment.
What you will bring:
A high level of financial acumen and proven skill in leveraging financial data to build compelling business cases.
Strength/passion in end-to-end business management, ideally with prior experience of running an investment portfolio in a CVC or having managed an early-stage companies.
Knowledge and empathy of how to develop and scale an early-stage business.
Excellent planning and organization skills to ensure strength of governance and discipline to business management and development.
Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills.

Work schedule: Hybrid WOW
Location: US (New York or Chicago preferable)
No Relocation support available, however for candidates voluntarily moving internationally some minimal support is offered through our Volunteer International Transfer Policy
