Opportunity

As Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in Mobileum’s financial leadership, working closely with the Chief Financial Officer, the Executive Leadership Team, and the Board. This position is key to scaling the financial operations of Mobileum, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth trajectory and market expansion. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing and implementing strategies for revenue growth, cost structure optimization, and capital expenditure decisions.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and refine financial models to support decision-making around revenue and expenses
• Take ownership of the company’s comprehensive three-statement financial model.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to drive strategic decisions and maximize ROI.
• Lead the financial planning processes, including annual operating plans and rolling forecasts, setting milestones and targets.
• Monitor and report on performance relative to the plan, providing transparency into financial performance to inform strategic and operational decisions.
• Act as a key financial partner to cross-functional teams, building relationships with key stakeholders and senior leadership to drive operational efficiencies.
• Utilize systems and processes to enhance the efficiency of financial planning, focusing on value-add activities.
• Build and lead a high-performing team that serves as a talent hub across the organization.

Professional Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience, with required leadership experience in FP&A. Exposure to the mobile telecommunications industry is a plus.
• Financial leadership background in a business with revenues exceeding $200M, preferably in a fast-paced, private equity-backed international setting.
• Background in investment banking, private equity, and corporate finance is highly preferred.
• Deep understanding of multi-business unit environments, multiple revenue streams, professional services utilization, product profitability, pricing models, and forecasting.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize costs and drive efficiencies in a private equity-backed portfolio company.
• Strong partnership experience with business units, engineering, sales, marketing, product, and other cross-functional leaders.
• Proven track record in developing, leading, and managing high-performing international teams.
• Comfortable with hands-on involvement in detailed financial models.
• Strong analytical skills, able to distill complex data into concise executive summaries.
• Agile and adaptable, with a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to manage ambiguity.
• Exceptional communication and management skills, adept at dealing with external stakeholders including auditors, investors, and customers.
• Ability to collaborate and drive team success for the good of the organization.
