Quick Apply 1 hour ago Full Job Description POSITION As a Service A/P Specialist, this role will be responsible for a variety of tasks associated with the accounting procedures for various Service Teams. These tasks will include, but will not be limited to, the review of purchase orders, A/P invoices, and non-billable inventory transfers for all Service Teams. This on-site position is in our Lombard office and works together with the Service Managers, and the Customer Service Teams in order to assure that all costs related to general service operations are captured and accounted for properly. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Process Accounts Payable invoices related to all Service Teams purchase orders Follow up on related vendor open purchase orders and vendor invoices Scan and file all vendor/subcontractor Certificates of Insurance (COIs) Process all inventory transfers to non-billable calls and post to service calls Assist with overhead and/or other accounts payable activities as needed Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION Two-year degree in accounting or five years of related accounting experience SKILLS AND ABILITIES Problem-solving: Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully. Vendor/Customer Service: Manage difficult vendor situations, respond promptly to vendor and internal Customer Service department needs and requests to assure costs are properly captured in the accounting system. Planning/Organizing: Prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently. Quality Control: Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; monitor own work to ensure quality and apply feedback to improve performance. Quantity: Meet productivity standards and complete work in a timely manner. Adaptability: Adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and be able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Dependability: Consistently be at work and on time, follow instructions, respond to management direction and solicit feedback to improve performance. Safety and Security: Observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The position requires the candidate to have the ability to lift approximately 15-20 lbs. in assistance of loading, unloading, and storing materials and equipment.
