Job description
The Lucky Snake Arcade is the largest Arcade in the East and is open all year round! We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager who will assist the General Manager in all aspects of the Arcade. Including but not limited to Administration, Operation, Sales, Safety and Maintenance. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for maintaining a level of service that exceeds the Guests’ expectations and ensures a positive working environment for all Associates.
Candidate must possess prior Arcade, Family Entertainment Center, Event Center or similar management experience preferably within an environment overseeing facilities of similar size and scope. Extensive experience and a proven track record regarding project planning and implementation, time management, budgeting and financial reporting is a must. Candidate must have extensive experience in managing multiple managers and supervisors with a history that points to leadership and stability. Candidate must be available to workday and evening shifts including weekends and holidays.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Successfully drive guest satisfaction, safety, and overall fun to create new experiences for guests and repeat visits from guests. Additionally, provide a safe, inclusive, and exciting environment for associates.
· Actively engage and collaborate with other management team members towards the success of the entire arcade.
· Develop, administer, implement, and monitor all department operations, including standard operating procedures in all areas.
· Ensure all departments are operating using the highest standards of service and safe working habits.
· Leadership & development of leadership team.
· Assist General Manger in the successful and accurate completion as required by Ownership, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Controllers or similar, any required reports, forecasts or similar documents.
· Assist General Manager in the development, modification, monitoring and evaluating all orientation, position specific and other training activities.
· Assist General Manager in the development, modification, monitoring and evaluating a quality assurance program that covers the performance of each functional area assigned within this position’s scope.
Qualified candidate will have:
· Must have experience in developing budgets, profit and loss statements, staffing guides, forecasts and similar items.
· Must demonstrate an ability to manage, thoughtful leadership, and motivation.
· Must have previous experience in OSHA standards.
· Ability to work long hours as needed including nights, weekends and holidays.
· Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
· Ability to handle other physical requirements of position.
