I’m currently working with a Director of FP&A that is looking to fill a Senior FP&A Analyst position near Lincolnshire, IL. Our client is one of the largest global producers of products in their niche. They are a multi-million dollar organization that services a vast network of industries with 10k+ products!
Job Description
Senior FP&A Analyst Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of monthly forecasts, budgets, and key strategic business plans including the analysis and variance explanations for senior leadership
- Provide consultation on key strategic initiatives to ensure all business units achieve their strategic goals
- Act as a change-agent and trusted partner to the business teams by providing insightful analyses and information that will enhance business decisions and company profitability
- Create models to ensure the viability and direction of strategic business efforts including revenue analysis, revenue alternatives, benefit analysis, and cost scenarios
- Work cross-functionally with the Accounting team to create process improvements and procedures
- Provide analytic reports and variance analysis for monthly review meetings with stakeholders on trends and monthly/yearly results of the business
- Support ad-hoc work and analysis by creating reports and analysis as needed across the business

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 4+ years of experience in Finance
- Manufacturing industry experience required
- Reporting system experience (SAP, Power BI, Host Analytics, Epicor)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience interacting with internal and external business partners
