PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Analyst is responsible for supporting and assisting in there implementation and maintenance of business solutions across the organization. Assigned tasks will require a mixture of technical, analytical, and project management skills. The Analyst will work in a cross-functional team environment and have the ability to collaborate effectively to implement and maintain business solutions.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluates data within various systems to identify systemic data error patterns and researches potential solutions, both technological and business process based
Develops and implement alternate methodologies and procedures that will enhance the organization’s business practices
Assist with facilitating implementation of best practices through project management and analytical analysis to achieve standardization across all finance related functions
Supports, develops, and maintains effective communication and excellent relationship with internal customers (included but not limited to business units, operations, property CFOs) including ensuring their requirements are identified and consistently met
Enhances internal customer service through the implementation of reporting, process improvements, and metrics
Maintains ongoing knowledge of system releases and changes.
Partner with impacted teams to determine the effect of releases and changes to current or future use
Partner with Centers of Excellence and other departments to create analytic tools that give visibility into data in a manner that allows effective management and analysis
Perform other job-related duties as requested.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or equivalent experience
1+ years of experience creating custom reports, data connectors and providing real-time information
Experience with advanced Excel BI functionality
Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook, Power Point, Word) and Adobe software, including constructing
PREFERRED:
Knowledge of Kronos iSeries or other timekeeping systems
Knowledge of payroll processing, taxes, garnishments
Knowledge of Workday Payroll or other payroll systems
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of the methods, processes, and tools for maintaining books and preparing financial reports Ability to read, interpret, and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material
Knowledge of financial and accounting applications
Knowledge of and ability to use processes, tools, and techniques for exploring and evaluating alternative financial scenarios and results.
Knowledge of and ability to create, implement, evaluate, and enhance internal control processes
Ability to analyze and develop processes and reports accurately and in accordance with policy, procedures and guidelines while
Ability to develop and maintain effective communications and excellent relationships with internal customers, clients, and partners
Ability to lead efforts to identify trends and pain points and develop effective solutions
Possess excellent project management skills and excel in change management
Must be fluent in English (speaking and writing) with ability to effectively address and communicate to all levels of the organization,
