Account Manager

Registered Investment Advisor firm, established in 1933, managing primarily high net worth individuals, families, trusts and estates, seeks full-time Associate Account Manager with 5+ years financial industry experience. The role is in-person at our Rye Brook, NY-based office.

Candidate will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance and service of client accounts. Principal job responsibilities include working directly with management on new and existing accounts, client interactions via telephone and email, overseeing meticulous records on cloud-based systems.

The successful candidate will join a versatile, team-oriented firm, now in its fourth generation of management by its founding family.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a relevant bachelor degree, preferably in Business

• Should have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Quicken and/or Quick Books.

• Basic computer skills are required, with the aptitude and willingness to learn specialized financial reporting and accounting software. The company will provide on-site instruction in various software suites and accounting systems as needed.

• Must have strong organizational skills, be flexible, able to prioritize multiple tasks, switch gears when needed to meet deadlines, and be eager to assume new responsibilities.

• Must be a self-starter, a forward-thinker, well-spoken, and thrive in a service-oriented environment. This position requires attention to detail and excellent communication skills (written and oral).

• Maintaining a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive client information.
