Finance Project Manager, M&A Responsibilities:
Leading the E2E finance integration process both strategically and tactically, as the primary POC for all finance tracks
Creating the finance integration plan, organizing Day 1 activities, and executing the ongoing integration activities through plan completion
Managing and executing the finance communication strategy, tools, and cadence for project planning, status readouts and updates
Coordinating the finance due diligence team activities and communicating all findings and impacts with Corporate Development Integration
adapting the integration plan as necessary
Leading the transitional finance activities around treasury, payroll and procurement
Building and cultivating strong relationships with integration stakeholders at all levels (Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Procurement, People Operations, Tech, Facilities, etc.)
Lead Finance workstream meetings and collaborate with stakeholders on making key decision and/or taking key actions to moving the integration forward
Understanding and managing Finance handoffs and dependencies
Managing multiple integrations concurrently while also assisting in building out the Finance integration toolset (e.g. playbooks, process flows, work plans)
Proactively identify integration areas for improvement and take these opportunities to collaborate in designing solutions and updating our toolset and processes
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
6+ years of combined experience as a project manager or leading consulting projects
Track record of managing cross functional teams
