Overview:
This position consists of preparing, analyzing and presenting complex financial and performance information to support operational and strategic decision making. The ideal candidate will come with a desire to thrive in our faith based, health system environment with goals of solving problems for our operations and helping contribute to the future growth, relevance and resiliency of the ministry. This person must possess strong analytical and financial skills, an intertwined business/ministry mindset, and a commitment to teamwork.
Position will lead the day to day execution of critical Mercy projects while guiding and developing individual team members as well as taking ownership of the overall project and its end products. Projects may include new assessments of contracted revenue performance, payment models, service line profitability as well as others to be determined.
Position will make an important contribution to the analysis, design, and implementation of business performance approaches and analytical solutions, developing tailor-made solutions and working closely with Mercy leaders to ensure positive impact and sustainable results. Incumbent will enhance current pro forma modeling, business case development, incorporate statistical methods as well as other projects aimed at improving internal processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Position will have the opportunity to build on their natural talents, leadership skills and leverage their interest in inspiring others, building strong relationships, and creating strong teams. In a collaborative team setting, you’ll work closely with others but also, at times, autonomously with little direction.
Qualifications:
Experience: 10+ years in management consulting or within consulting function of health system or other business in an applicable industry.
Required Education: Advanced degree or master’s degree in Business or Health Administration from a top tier university with a consistent outstanding academic record.
Travel Requirement: variable depending on project work

Demonstrated knowledge with financial, business and analytic applications and processes
Strong analytical skills and familiarity with working with complex financial data sets
Strong skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
Demonstrated leadership ability in a team environment with demonstrated skills working with all levels within an organization including Executive team and Board
Ability to frame analytical questions, perform financial analyses and communicate related results
Ability to work independently to meet multiple project deadlines
Ability to work with and preserve confidential information
