In fact, most of our 30 person team had never worked at a dealership prior – including the owner – and most of us felt the same about this industry before. This needs to be someone who loves people and processes; someone who thrives in administrative responsibilities, loves efficiency, is ultra organized and process oriented – but also someone that can communicate and coordinate with all of our team, our clients, and vendors, in positive ways. Someone who is open and approachable, but who can also be firm and assertive when needed. This is a pivotal role with our team, sitting at the center of it all and touching nearly every aspect of the business. You’re the glue that holds it all together, and the grease that keeps it all running smoothly. We actually have processes to accomplish most of that, so everything isn’t reliant on one person, but you’ll be managing those processes, holding others accountable to them, and constantly improving them.This is one of those positions that requires an amazing multifaceted person – requiring a great deal of organization, discipline, strategic thinking, prudent decision making, and a variety of skills and knowledge rarely found in one person. - Accounting Support – including general bookkeeping, reconciliations, bank deposits, A/R & A/P
- Creating, improving, and documenting processes and protocols for the team
- Operational and finance metrics reporting and analysis
- Budget/expense management
- HR and IT Coordination and administration
- Sales/transaction documentation, titling and DMV compliance, etc.
- Digital file conversion and organization for clients and vendors
- Facility maintenance
- Other general administrative responsibilities
We’ll Be Looking for the Following Qualifications:
- You must be a high achiever – evidenced by a resume highlighting significant achievements, advancement, and a pursuit of excellence
- 5+ years of general office management experience
- Thorough working knowledge of quickbooks and excel, and general accounting and bookkeeping principles/practices
- Bachelor’s degree or extensive experience and excellent track record
