The role:
The YouTube Channel Manager will manage and develop the LUSH Global YouTube channels. With responsibility to develop and execute the YouTube strategy with a focus on content and community engagement and channel optimization.
Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive YouTube strategy to increase engagement, viewers, subscribers, and traffic, as well as implement and manage YouTube activities
Ideate relevant film content in line with current trends and marketing plan
Drive maintenance and optimization of YouTube page (selecting videos to be published, coordinating thumbnail images, organizing playlists, titling videos, adding effective descriptions and tags, etc.)
Expand reach and brand awareness of LUSH on YouTube
Monitor YouTube engagement to create content optimization suggestions
Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage YouTube activities
Monitor, respond, and manage interactions on YouTube
Work closely with the content creation team to execute YouTube strategies and content
Oversee channel business analytics, including reporting, analysis, and optimization
Use the channel reporting and insights to inform our strategy and optimization
Ideal experience:
Experience of managing brand identities and channels on YouTube
An excellent understanding of how YouTube and video can work as part of a wider marketing strategy
An experienced storyteller with a creative eye for design and video content
A good knowledge of YouTube algorithms
Experience of Influencer marketing and paid advertising
Strong written, editing, and proof-reading skills is a plus, using concise, precise, clear and accurate words choice
Knowledge and application of organic YouTube strategy including content strategy and channel optimization
Analytical and project management skills
Previous experience of working alongside video production teams
An excellent communicator
Experience with other social platforms would be an advantage
Previous experience of vlogging and creating lowfi YouTube content would be an advantage
