Our Corporate Finance FP&A team is looking for a Manager of Finance Systems with a solid academic background and a desire to influence a cleaner future through the electrification of the transportation sector. The role:
Daily management and administration of the financial systems including ERP, budget/forecast and BI/Reporting tools including monitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancing the systems based on prior knowledge and user requirements
Become a subject matter expert in how Lucid financial systems operate and apply the knowledge when enhancing and troubleshooting systems
Leverage financial and system knowledge to create and improve financial reporting at Lucid
Administer and optimize the creation and maintenance of Finance master data to support financial reporting including profit center, cost center and chart of accounts reporting hierarchies.
Understand the financial reporting and planning process and pro-actively provide system solutions in that financial analysts spend more time analyzing and less time preparing financial statements
Perform detailed testing for new financial systems and features ensuring new systems go in bug free
Front-end report writer for new standard reports, dashboards and data sets by leveraging financial statement knowledge to produce better reports
Enable smaller system enhancement initiatives with autonomy
Maintain end-user training content and hold ongoing trainings to teach customers to use and optimize the systems
Partner across customer base of Finance, Accounting, and Treasury to provide first level support for issues and enhancements
Bridge IT and Finance functions and partner with IT to provide relevant system solutions
Additional ad-hoc assignments and projects supporting departments across the organization
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field of study
8+ years of relevant experience administering financial systems- SAP experience highly desirable
Solid understanding of key performance measures and financial statements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to take large data sets and organize and structure to support the decision-making process
Demonstrated experience building front-end financial reports in financial systems and automating manual processes
Experienced track record of administering a forecast/ budget system working with FP&A
Query and report writing experience including advanced Microsoft excel formulas, SQL or other similar system experience
Proven quantitative and critical-thinking skills
Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and ability to simplify a technical concept so that non-technical partners can understand
Ability to take large unstructured data sets and organize and draw meaning from them
Experience at an automotive OEM, automotive Tier 1 supplier or large-scale manufacturing organization a huge plus!
