Independently manages an expense budgeting and analysis process in a deadline focused environment with ultimate responsibility for the accuracy of the work. Uses increasing business acumen to guide GRS in gathering relevant data across GRS functions, segments and Corporate functions to perform thorough, relevant budgeting, results reporting and analysis, and complex ad hoc analysis. Communicates financial results, trends, and business implications to a variety of audiences, including making presentations to senior management. Builds a culture of innovation to continuously improve processes to ensure work is performed in the fastest, most efficient means possible.
In a matrixed environment, manages various GRS department budgets by overseeing the preparation of forecasts, annual budgets and analyzing actual monthly expenses, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the organization and senior management.
Manages the development of accurate budgets and financial plans by effective planning, monitoring, and problem solving. Interacts with management to explain the budget and financial planning process, identifies factors impacting expense trends, coordinates the budgeting process, understands business drivers of financial trends, highlight opportunities for improvement, and creates relevant management exhibits.
Develops highly complex ad hoc and on-going financial forecasts and models that assist the business in making decisions, effectively communicating trends and outcomes to senior management.
Provides sound financial advice to GRS departments, anticipating the financial impact of changes in the business and operating environment and making recommendations to improve business outcomes.
Understands the interdependencies of financial and budgeting systems (e.g. Anaplan, One GL, Exprt+, Smartview/Essbase), involved in recommending, testing and implementing enhancements and planning appropriately for changes.
Initiates and/or leads increasingly complex projects and continuous improvement activities that may span beyond the scope of own team`s responsibilities, spanning functions and segments as needed.
Will lead work streams ensuring GRS organizations meets the collective budgeting needs of GRS while anticipating longer term enterprise-wide targets.

Delivers business results while building the team`s capabilities by setting challenging objectives and coaching the team in meeting them. Coaches the team to assess the business value and efficiency of the work performed, identifying and implementing improvements. Qualifications
Bachelor`s degree (Finance or Accounting) required.
CPA or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of finance experience. Expense planning, reporting and analysis experience preferred.
Must demonstrate ability to execute thoroughly in a fast-paced work environment, adapting quickly to changing conditions to achieve results.
Facilitates cross-functional and cross-segment collaboration and communicates effectively to a wide variety of audiences at all levels of the organization.
Comfortable leading meetings and making presentations to increasingly large audiences.
Ability to independently manage and/or execute multiple projects simultaneously.
Driven and flexible enough to succeed in ambiguous and less structured situations.
Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational drivers.
Highly analytical, detail oriented with advanced reporting skills. Advanced understanding of budgeting and finance tools and analytical methods preferred.
