Responsibilities : Position includes the following (at various points in time) :
Budget Management / Ownership of three brand budgets.
Assist with execution of marketing programs including development, cost estimates, writing copy, issuing creative requisitions, reviewing materials, interfacing with Sales and support functions to ensure programs stay on track and on strategy.
Creative Management : Develop Creative & Copy Briefs for Marketing programs, Promotional Offers, Digital programs, Educational Events, Marketing / Sales / Corporate Meetings, etc.
Interfacing / key contact with outside vendors (display company, for example)
In-Store Merchandising : Manage the development and execution of in-store merchandising updates (permanent and temporary).
Includes briefing creative & display vendor, writing copy, planogram design, timeline management, collaboration with Sales for Account approval, etc.
Assist with analysis of data, including POS, sales, pricing, promotional redemption data, and make recommendations based on findings.
Assist w / various aspects of New Product Development (i.e. research emerging trends, ingredients, marketplace evolution, competition, etc.)
Quals
Integral part of the marketing team managing key aspects and responsibilities associated with brand building on two high priority brands.
Position touches all components of the business including product, distribution / sales, pricing, promotion, advertising (traditional & digital), packaging, finance, etc.
Minimum 4-year college degree in marketing or similar / transferable major and multicultural / textured hair interest / knowledge and / or marketing experience a plus.
Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must be proficient in WORD, Excel, PowerPoint (and will have to learn internal systems / programs / tools).
