Lakeshore Restaurant, Marina, and Lodge is seeking a General Manager. This is a fast paced environment during the Summer months and much slower during the Winter months. Lakeshore sits directly on Lewis Smith Lake and has a restaurant with a bar, a marina, and a 34 room hotel. Lakeshore employs approximately 25 employees. Wait staff, kitchen staff, and bar staff handle most daily restaurant duties. Front desk staff is in charge of taking and checking in hotel reservations, answering phones, all marina paperwork, restaurant comps, and marina payments. Marina staff is typically limited to a forklift operator whose duties include setting boats in and out of the water, filling said boats with gas, and basic mechanic duties. This General Manager will be responsible for managing employees and daily operations, weekly scheduling, being a liaison between daily operations and the owners, and running this established business in a way that promotes business while being mindful of income and expenses. Pay is negotiable and will depend on previous experience and eagerness to be successful.
