We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Treasury Manager, FX and International Treasury functions. The Sr. Manager is responsible for developing an effective framework for managing foreign exchange exposures and delivering an efficient utilization of cash and financial services to meet the company objectives. The role requires an understanding of corporate and commercial finance, a keen interest in learning about the business, and a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to contribute to the process of making sound business decisions.
An ideal candidate will have a strong interest in tracking and understanding developments in economics and financial markets, while improving company performance and profitability. The ability to work cross functionally and the desire for increased treasury exposure are also critical. This position reports to the Assistant Treasurer and is based in Frisco, Texas.
Responsibilities:
FX Risk Management:
Maintain and evolve our strategy for balance sheet and cash flow FX hedge programs, including exposure forecasting, variance analysis, hedge strategy recommendation and FX trade execution with participating banks/financial service providers
Establish performance benchmarks and reporting on hedge effectiveness, P&L impact, and cash impact; Work with Accounting to perform month and quarter end close activities related to foreign exchange and cash management
Partner with FP&A, tax, accounting, and finance teams to understand key drivers impacting cash and foreign exchange exposure and be a key internal advisor to the organization
International Cash Management:
Develop and maintain international level short- and long-term cash flow/liquidity forecasting models in collaboration with AP, AR, FP&A, Tax, Accounting, and business
Develop and deploy operational cash management processes such as cash pooling, inter-company netting, and short-term deposits
Partner with North America, Latin America, Europe, and APAC subsidiaries to implement cash planning models and manage the process of intercompany funding and settlements.
Lead the Treasury planning of strategic capital transactions and international M&A
Business Partnering/Key Controls:
Strong grasp of accounting concepts with ability to work with technical accounting team to drive accounting treatment and disclosures; Ensure that SOX deliverables and controls are met.
Support the design and implementation of emerging technology, including Treasury management solutions, bank administration and other ancillary systems
Partner closely with the overall Treasury Team, lead and/or support projects as needed and cross-train on your areas of expertise. Provide management level reporting and presentations.
Build out the International Treasury function and develop team
Own and actively manage other treasury projects as needed
Requirements:
Minimum of 8+ years of domestic and international treasury experience in a public multinational company
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting required. MBA, CFA, and/or CTP a plus
Knowledge of FX, banking, cash forecasting, cash and liquidity management
Expertise in treasury systems connectivity, bank platforms, SAP, GTreasury, Bloomberg, and BI Tools is a plus
Working knowledge of treasury accounting for Investments, FX, and GAAP principles
Highly motivated. Possesses great communication skills with the ability to interact across teams and all levels of management as well as time management skills and is comfortable in situations where work is fast paced
Proactive problem-solving skills including the ability to define possible solutions, foresee issues and provide proactive solutions to closure
Very strong in Excel, solid with PowerPoint and Word
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Spanish speaking is a plus
