We’re seeking Foreign Language Interpreters (VRI),fluent in the specified language (Khmer) and English for a great work from home job opportunity and interpret high volume inbound calls.

A typical day in this position might look like: .

• Handling video calls on demand in a quiet home office
• Help interpret in the specified language (Khmer) and English conversations for a wide range of industries including Healthcare, Government, Insurance Financial, Travel & Hospitality and government entities
• Interpreting the specified language (Khmer) and English conversations that may be both simple, complex or technical

Ideal candidates will be:

• Fluent in both the specified language (Khmer) and English
• Able to work 20-40 hours a week
• Education or work experience in teaching or translation considered an asset
• Manual dexterity to type or write notes
• Comfortable being on camera as Interpreting in video calls will be a mandatory in this position

Remote technical requirements:

• High speed Internet connection for work related electronic communication.
• Paper shredder/dry erase marker board to dispose of handwritten notes taken during calls
• A quiet and dedicated workspace
