About the opportunity:
You will be KarmaCheck’s first finance hire! This is a high-impact role where you’ll have the ability to take ownership over all aspects of accounting and FP&A. In this role you’ll help drive decisions at the company through your finance experience and financial data you maintain.
The ultimate goal for the Sr Manager, Finance is to build and evolve all of our finance and accounting processes in order to put accurate and impactful information into the decision making process at all levels of the organization.
What you’ll do:
Partner with leadership to develop our budgeting process and short/long-term projections.
Manage and optimize AR and AP functions.
Be the subject matter expert on all things related to revenue recognition.
Ensure our finance systems enable us to make informed decisions.
Prepare analysis against budgets, projections, and for the purposes of board reporting.
Work closely with People Ops to build our merit cycle and manage payroll.
Manage treasury operations to deploy our capital effectively.
Required Qualifications:
5-10 years of progressive experience in Accounting and/or Finance roles.
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Ability to manage external resources to navigate tax related items
Experience with Salesforce and subscription management tools
Strong research experience to help us navigate and change the landscape of accounting, treasury management, tax, and other applicable aspects of finance.

The expected OTE compensation for this role is between $120,000 – $175,000 for work performed in the United States. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include experience level, transferrable skills, education, location, business needs, training, and market demands.
