JP Morgan Advisors, Assistant Regional Director/Sales Manager
The ARD Role functions as an individual contributor, reporting directly to the Regional Director. The ARD is a member of the RD’s leadership team, responsible for a wide variety of delegated functions related to the RD’s overall responsibilities for parent and associate offices.
Responsibilities:
Assisting the Regional Director in directing and leading the branch to acquire and drive business opportunities in the local market
Partners with the Banking & Investment product specialists to ensure full capabilities of the firm are packaged for FAs to bring to clients.
Interacts with FAs on an advanced level regarding sales activities, account information, procedures, systems and range of financial services products
Responsible for the agenda, topics and materials for sales meetings.
Partners with the RD on recruiting and acquiring Advisors and teams.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills through written and formal/informal presentations
Focused on establishing strong working relationships with the other members of the regional leadership team and promoting teamwork.
Demonstrates strong business acumen and operates/leads in a client centric way.
Communicates effectively with a proven ability to influence others and lead change.
Oversees requests and escalations from the FAs as delegated by the RD.
Manages risk and ensures the broader organization is protecting the interests of the firm while enhancing the client experience.
Responsible for ongoing risk and supervisory management responsibilities as delegated by RD.
Knows when to escalate concerns to the RD and senior management.
Understands and adheres to our risk management processes, policies and tools.
Qualifications:
+5 years of management or relevant experience within the financial services industry as a sales practice leader and/or assistant branch/regional manager
Series 7 and 66 or 63/65 required
Series 9/10 required within 60 days of hire (condition of employment)
Strong commitment to the client experience
Proven ability to attract and recruit external talent
Ability to face off with our most senior FAs and largest clients
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
Ability to handle competing demands and multiple requests
Project management background
Strong integrity and judgment skills
Proven management and coaching skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
