The Finance Manager, Global Functions HR, will provide strategic financial leadership to the Human Resources organization, including Global Talent Management, Total Rewards, Global Health Services and Mobility. This is a critical high business partnering role with visibility to HR leadership, as well as direct responsibility for the CFO Regional Task Force Finance Mobility budget. In this role the successful candidate will support the management and reporting of operational spend. In addition, this role will generate financial and business insights to provide decision-making analytics to help deliver strategic priorities aligned with HR’s Strategic Framework.
The Manager will work closely with the HR and Finance team to deliver forecast cycles including Latest Thinking and other Ad-Hoc analysis. This role will be required to actively engage and influence HR management, while identifying opportunities and proactive actions to ensure delivery of financial commitments. A key element of the role will be to lead and drive education, standardization, and process efficiencies aligned with SigniFi.
The role will report to the Director, Global Functions HR. This role will have two direct reports.
Major responsibilities for the position include:
Provide key financial strategic leadership to the HR Leadership team
Leading the major forecasting cycles with HR business partner (FBP, JU, NU, LTs and other Ad-Hoc), support analytics and scenario planning
Manage global expenses of +$300MM within HR, and other admin/finance, delivering quarter close requirements and SOX compliance
Drive financial analysis on strategic HR projects to inform recommendations and decisions, while influencing Senior Leaders within the HR organization.
Lead Benchmarking exercises to ensure a continued focus to drive cost efficiencies
Partner directly with Global Mobility Third Party vendor (SIRVA) to manage Global Mobility annual costs and coordinate the accounting processes with the Manilla team.
Work directly with the CFO Task Force (CFO’s and Treasurer) on the management and forecast of the Finance Mobility budget
Champion process improvements while incorporating SigniFi goals and objectives (Budget up-leveling, Charge-Out/Allocation simplification, Automation, etc.)
People Management responsibilities of two direct reports
Supporting ongoing Ad Hoc requests
Qualifications
A minimum of 4 years of Finance, Accounting, or other related business experience is required
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. An advance degree, MBA, CMA, CPA or other financial certification is a plus
Prior people management experiences are preferred
Experienced professional with strong communication skills who can interact, influence and drive results with senior management is required.
Strategic thinker with an ability to dive into details is required
Strong written and oral communication skills, including solid presentation abilities is required
Ability to lead, collaborate, challenge and influence peers, teams, and senior management is required
The ability to manage and prioritize multiple requirements, as well as strong collaboration skills are required
Must have the ability to work effectively in a new, dynamic, and fast paced environment
Familiarity and experience with TM1 and SAP are preferred
The primary location for this role is New Brunswick, NJ. The role may require travel (less than 10%)
