JB Consulting Systems Looking for Accounting Assistant – Full-Time & In-Office at Snohomish, WA Full Time

Looking for a very special Accounting Assistant for a landscaping company in Snohomish, WA. This role is focused on processing financial data and project costs. The Accounting Assistant works in conjunction with all production departments to establish improved contract and job costing. Will ensure that managers have the correct financial data to manage their work. In addition, this role will process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

This landscaping company has been around for almost 30 years and is growing like a weed (see what we did there?) so they need your help! Qualified candidates will have a sense of humor and a positive attitude – a MUST!

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable invoices and checks.
• Prepare Client Invoices for the construction department.
• Support Operations with material receipt management and job tracking.
• Enter and analyze project cost data.
• Assist with Fixed Asset tracking.
• Perform Accounts Receivable functions, including collections.
• Maintain filing.
• Reconcile credit card accounts.
• Foster positive communications and relationships with all employees and management.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Actively assist with a variety of general administrate functions.
• Establish and maintain good working relationship and communication with other team members.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in an accounting department.
• Strong organizational and time management skills required.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks.
• Comfortable interacting with a diverse client base and excellent customer service skills.
• Skilled self-starter with the ability to work independently on multiple tasks while managing changing priorities.
• A Sense of Humor a Must.
