Jacksonville Center for Clinical Research Looking for Accounting Specialist/Bookkeeper at Jacksonville, FL Full Time

Position Summary:

The Accounting Specialist supports the Vice President of Finance and Accounting in the financial operations of ENCORE Research Group.

This is an entry to mid level position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping for all ENCORE Research Group entities: Accounts Payable and Reimbursable Expenses
• Verify check amounts against invoices
• Keep sensitive information confidential, and follow internal measures for financial security
• Identify ways to streamline accounting operations and ways to improve the department
• Oversight of ordering and purchasing for all company sites, including office supplies, patient gifts and annual inventory

Education and Experience:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience in clinical research, pharmaceutical industry or healthcare preferred

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High level of integrity and accountability
• Understanding of Quickbooks Online
• Ability to maintain professional and positive attitude
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, quality, and communication skills (written and oral)
• Takes initiative, team player, and can adapt well to a changing environment
