The Food Packer position is all things wrapping, packing and shipping out our meals. We are looking for someone who is energetic, detail-oriented, and takes initiative. The Food Packer spends a lot of time on their feet in the kitchen.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) are a must! This position may also include light office/administrative style work for order processing, vendor communication, and working within our Shopify website. However, this is not the primary function.

Responsibilities:
- + Portion, label, wrap and pack meals.
+ Operate in an efficient manner to maintain food integrity and cold chain.
+ Maintain focus and be detail-oriented so that everything is packed and shipped correctly according to packing slips.
+ Assist with managing packing inventory and materials.
+ Communicate with Customer Service (FOH) and Kitchen (BOH)
Hours are stable and predictable, with no night shifts and off Friday and Saturday.
+ Sunday 10am – 4pm
+ Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:30am – 6pm (approx)
Required qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred qualifications:
- 18 years or older
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Has (or willing to open) a checking account for direct deposit
- 6+ months of experience in the food & restaurant industry
- Restaurant back of house skills: general food prep
- Restaurant back of house skills: safe food handling
- Math skills: tracking inventory usage
- Able to stand for duration of shift
- Able to comfortably lift 20 lbs
