Infosys Looking for Risk and Control Business Analyst at Jersey City, NJ Full Time

Infosys is seeking a Risk and Control Business Analyst. The role will need a Consultant in Operational Risk Team, who is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas and applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Successful candidate will be essentially accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Strong understanding of Control Testing, RCSA, Understanding of Regulations and exposure of a variety of risks across financial industry is required to mitigate various kinds of risks.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Jersey City (NJ), Tampa (FL) or Irving (TX) or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 5 years of experience with Information Technology.

• Experience in Risk and Controls Business Operations project experience in Operation Risk Policy implementation, driving Operation Risk Anticipation, Mitigation and Loss Recovery

• Established understanding of software design, application development, distributed systems, SDLC, and/or technology operations (hands on experience preferred)

• Experience and through understanding of Control Testing, RCSA, Understanding of Regulations and exposure of a variety of risks across financial industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of significant relevant experience working in an Operational Risk, Technology Risk, IT Audit, Operational Control, Information Security or related field (financial services industry experience preferred)

• At least 4 years of experience working in financial regulation, operational management, vendor management and RCSA or related control processes across a global environment.

• Project management experience demonstrating strong analytical skills exhibiting ability to solve complex problems in new and varied environments, processes and technologies helpful

• Demonstrable ability to analyze and monitor risk control issues through to resolution

• Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills.

• Exhibit Strong Influencing/negotiating skills with attention to detail.

• Experience using any of the tools such as, Jira, Rally, Confluence, Agility VersionOne, Miro etc.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
