Program Manager I 9 Month Contract, Potential to Extend or ConvertMountain View, CADuties:
This program manager role is for Programs & Operations within our People Experience team, which is part of our People & Places organization.
It will primarily support two key areas of People
Experience:
our People Experience Continuous Improvement System and Enterprise Experience Governance.
Our People Experience Continuous Improvement System exists to proactively engage and partner with Centers of Excellence (such as benefits, payroll, and talent acquisition) to design and deliver products, services, and support experiences (digital, help yourself, and human assisted) in a way that enables flexibility and continuous improvement at speed and provides a delightful experience for our workers.
Key responsibilities to support this work are:
Manage the intake process and tracking system for pain and opportunities in worker experiences identified through the engagement process.
Lead system operational mechanisms to review new items, prioritize, resource, and close out on completed items by tracking solutions and impact measurements.
Drive accountability across the system and assist with identifying stakeholders and risks and barriers.
Our Enterprise Experience Governance creates an enduring structure to ensure a unified, consistent digital employee support experience by aligning the right stakeholders with making systematic decisions.
Key responsibilities to support this work are:
Manage and drive work to build enterprise standards for content and principles for our strategic levers of governance, end-to-end experience, technology, and analytics & insights.
Partner with project teams to create workback plans and stay connected to ensure project teams are executing on provided details and requirements.
Support the Staff Program Manager in curating agenda items for Governance Committee and Steering Committee meetings and gathering materials and stakeholder feedback in preparation for those meetings.
Communicate out decisions from committee meetings to stakeholders.
Skills:
Partnership Build relationships with cross-organizational stakeholders.
Thought partner with the ability to look around corners and identify risks, resolve blockers, and escalate where appropriate.
Partner with various teams and ensure transparency across all stakeholders.
Operational Rigor Establish operating rhythms, rigor, and accountability.
Lead cross-functional meetings and foster teamwork.
Manage projects on time and with high quality delivery.
Adjust plans and adapt to changes and pivots.
Track execution progress across multiple workstreams, report status, and escalate risks as necessary.
Communication Effectively communicate, including with senior leadership.
Manage stakeholder engagement and ensure stakeholders are well-informed of progress.
Ask the right questions to help identify gaps and facilitate the decision process.
Communicate through documentation.
Data Create success metrics.
Partner with team members to tell the story with data.
