Your job.
The Sales Strategy Manager – US Upper Mid-Market works closely with stakeholders across functions and regions to lead and execute strategic initiatives that accelerate revenue, drive operational scale and improve efficiency for continuous exponential growth. You will be a strategic partner to the Sales and CS leadership for our upper mid-market segment in the US. Indeed employees are united by one common mission: they help people get jobs. Responsibilities
Partner with Sales and CS leadership to strategize, develop, and advance critical sales and client success initiatives
Manage and develop your team
Help shape strategy and direction by leading sophisticated research and analysis (e.g. revenue, customer, market and competitive trends and insights) for senior leadership to support decision-making
Lead quarterly and annual goal setting process for the US Upper Mid-Market Sales and CS organizations
Collaborate cross-functionally (with Sales Ops, Product, Finance, Service teams) to get work done, driving recommendations through to implementation
Complete analysis and assessment of growth opportunities; refine operating metrics to shift objectives and priorities for the Upper Mid-Market business
Drive operational excellence through identification and execution of opportunity areas that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business
Who You Are
Requirements
You are a strategic and operational leader, and have demonstrated these skills leading cross functional teams and dealing with senior leaders / executives
You have a unique mix of strategy / analytical horsepower, problem solving, and customer facing skills; you can take data and drive to action – this means being very strong leading teams analyzing data (e.g. spreadsheets, SQL)
You have a client service mentality, willingness to collaborate openly with other functions
5+ years experience in management consulting, sales strategy, strategic planning, FP&A, finance, sales operations and /or business operations, preferably in the tech/internet space, and 2+ years experience leading a team
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or other relevant / quantitative disciplines (e.g. Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, etc), MBA is a plus
Superior Excel, Powerpoint, and Google Suite skills
Fluency with SQL; able to structure queries, pull data and structure it in a meaningful way for analysis, create reports and influence decision making. Knowledge of Python and Tableau a plus.
Experience managing, coaching and retaining top talent
Experience with fast-paced, sales-force driven business models
Strong leadership and influencing skills
Results and detail oriented, with strong commercial / business acumen
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

US Remote 125,000 – 175,000 USD per year
