Job Responsibilities
Finance (75%)
Analyze and develop a long-term financial strategy for ImmSchools
Oversee organizational finance, including restricted and unrestricted grants and expenditures in alignment with organizational goals
Evaluate financial data, financial processes, and financial systems to increase efficiency
Responsible for compliance and audit documentation and oversight of external auditors
Supervise and maintain financial and administrative records and monitoring systems to record and reconcile expenditures, balances, payments, statements, and other data for day-to-day transactions and reports
Design and implement a robust contract management and financial management reporting system
Develop process and manage all school and district contracts account receivables and payables
Perform account reconciliations and generate financial grant reports
Develop and present financial reports and financial projections for National Board, leadership, and development team
Evaluate financial risk and preparation of annual 1099s and other tax documents to meet federal and state compliance requirements
Operations and Administrative (25%)
Ensure daily administrative support to the team, including daily correspondences, maintenance of information systems, assisting with scheduling and travel arrangements
Managing internal team communication, facilitation of information flow, coordination of schedule and other logistic arrangements
Ensure all fiscal policies, procedures, and documentation requirements are adequate to protect the organization.
Assist with payroll, benefits administration, onboarding, off-boarding, and other human resource needs; assist in management and maintenance of all office systems
Collaborate with departments across the organization in order to meet organizational-wide goals, including efforts to become an anti-racist organization
Qualifications
Experience
7-10 years of financial administration and management experience
3-5 years of audit experience with non-profit organizations; an equivalent combination of experience, training, and certification may be considered
Effective oral and written communication skills
Strong project management and tracking data skills
Effective and efficient multitasking skills
Familiar with financial management systems such as QuickBooks, Expensify, bill.com, google workspace, etc.
Associates in Accounting or other education degrees *preferred
Professional/ personal experience of working with Immigrant and undocumented communities *preferred

Compensation
Starting at $100,000

Round 3: Take Home Activity Assignment- designed to take 3 hours of your time
After review of activity assignment, you will be invited to a final interview
Round 4: 1 hour Zoom Final interview with Chief Program Officer & at least one member of ImmSchools Leadership Team
