National Supply Chain Manager
IMCD US is in search of a National Supply Chain Manager, who will be responsible for leading and developing a team of technically trained supply chain analysts and support staff in managing the company’s inventory investment and network effectiveness. In this role, they will lead strategy planning discussions, inventory and logistics analysis, documentation, best practice sharing, and other support to increase the supply chain effectiveness of the organization and will partner with various stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for process improvements.

Develop supply chain strategies that results in a best-in-class network that meets company inventory objectives while providing capability and effectiveness needed to drive growth.
Provide leadership and ongoing coaching to direct reports and other department members.
Develop and review supply chain key performance indicators (KPI’s) on regular cadence and ensure successful execution to meet department objectives.
Partner with key stakeholders in the organization to develop supply chain strategies to drive customer service excellence.
Conduct analysis of data on key supply chain initiatives and provide insight into key takeaways and next steps that might need to be taken to increase the operational effectiveness of the organization.
Ensure global supply chain policies are reviewed and adhered to.
Lead month-end closure activities for supply chain to ensure a successful closing.
Serve as escalation resource to resolve issues as required in support of our Principals, Customers, Logistics Partners, and internal departments.
Provide hands on tactical support and execution on assigned tasks which help improve system stability or pave the way towards future objectives.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements by collaborating with operational and commercial teams and support team ideas and initiatives that contribute to the success of the company.
Exercise good commercial judgment and operate in a highly visible, high-pressure environment.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business
7+ years of business experience
5+ years of supply chain experience
Able to drive successful collaboration between Commercial and Supply Chain teams to meet business objectives
Proven track record of improving an underperforming function with a clear action plan
Presents self professionally and able to aid Commercial Team in Principal meetings
Able to formulate best practices that will be utilized throughout the department as standard operating procedure
Strong analytical skills with ability to transform data into actionable insights
Deadline-driven, detail oriented, conscientious, and able to prioritize and multitask
Able to communicate effectively with a variety of contacts, including senior management, and business associates
Able to identify, analyze and solve relevant business problems in a timely manner
Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced work environment, manage competing demands and deal with potential changes, delays or unexpected events
Able to operate with a high degree of autonomy and, at the same time, comfortable to follow instructions, respond to management direction and solicit feedback to improve performance
Able to read and write the English language sufficiently to understand, articulate and create effective and error free instructions, strategies, deliverables and communications
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Flexible to work an occasional evening or weekend
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
