As our Warehouse Operations Leader you will:
Develop world-class fulfillment capabilities and implement strategies to meet long-term business objectives while driving customer satisfaction through safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement.
Leadership of the warehouse, inventory management team (leaders, line supervisors, and associates) and (global-) transportation (-solutions), including associate selection, training, coaching, development, planning, performance management, conflict management and recognition while fostering a positive environment.
Monitor warehouse performance towards Distribution Center and corporate goals to achieve optimal operating results.
Develop and implement best in class standards and measurements that promote lean, efficient, and safe operating practices.
Who you are and the experience you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of experience in distribution center management and experience in distribution, warehousing, transportation, and materials handling.
ERP experience (Oracle preferred).
Understanding of supply chain management in JIT environment.
Demonstrated success with Lean and/or Six Sigma.
Expertise with Capacity Planning, capital equipment budgeting.
Excellent written and oral communication and analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Preferred experience that differentiates you:
WMS optimization background
Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
Active membership in ASCM/APICS
