Jr Finance/Administrative Specialist

Contractor will provide Administrative and Fiscal support for our local government client.
Contractor must have:
Advanced skillset of Office 365 programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SharePoint, Windows 10/11 Enterprise applications.
Database Management: Database Maintenance, Problem Solving, Promoting Process Improvement, Attention to Detail & Quality Focus
Excellent working knowledge of the Oracle EBS environment as it relates to AP and Procurement modules.
Administrative Assistant Experience
Excellent Organizational Skills
Responsibilities include:
Fiscal Responsibilities
Process requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and reimbursements using Oracle E-Business Suite.
Ensure correct purchase orders (PO), cost codes, and accounting data.
Collaborate with the Procurement Office to streamline the POs process.
Process invoices in compliance with financial procedures.
Monitor and record division-specific expenses using Excel and SharePoint tools.
General Office Administration
Manage office supplies and inventory for the Office of Broadband Program.
Maintain and update document repositories in the SharePoint platform.
Proactively anticipate department needs, ensuring a more efficient workplace.
Handle mail and package distribution.
Coordinate conference room bookings for both in-person and online meetings.
Facilitate a smooth onboarding process by communicating effectively with managers.
Project Coordination/Program Support
Provide Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) information to encourage low-income residents to apply for the program at Montgomery Connects outreach events or over the phone.
Offer essential assistance and support for technical issues via email and phone.
Prepare Contract Series Task Order Proposal Request packages.
Coordinate installation schedules and conduct site visits with the team.
Schedule and coordinate site visits between departments and the team.
Maintain project progress and status records in spreadsheets and SharePoint.
Write minutes and create a monthly TO-DO list for the meeting attendees.
Host/coordinate monthly Zoom meetings.
Track applications and payments.
Database Management
Create/Update ~~~ databases
Create/Update ServiceNow tickets
Create/Update files and libraries in SharePoint
