The Head of Finance for Global Payments Solutions will lead the global activities for Global Payments Solutions (“GPS”) Finance in covering Executive MI, Strategic Analysis, Planning, Forecasting & Stress Testing, Business Partnering with the Global GPS business teams, global change projects, and oversight of enabling functions. In all aspects of delivery, the role holder is expected to execute seamless BAU while also driving productive change and driving those around him/her to do likewise. The role’s principal stakeholders include GPS CEO, GBM & CMB CFOs, Global and Regional Line of Business CFOs and teams, Line of Business Strategy teams and Strategic Planning & Stress Testing.

As the Head of Finance for Global Payments Solutions, you will delivery of timely, insightful MI that can clearly articulate performance and enable management challenge and decision support.
Core to the role will be managing and delivering evolving demands from the Business for ad hoc strategic support in a range of areas that help build the NII story and provide the right level of challenge to the Business.
This individual is responsible for ensuring the delivery of the Financial Resources Plan and monthly forecasts for GBM and CMB that achieve the joint requirements of meeting Group targets while ensuring they are realistically challenging to Business management.
The individual will lead a small, but senior, team of business partners working with the global CFO and strategy teams.
The role holder will be expected to help design and drive a considerable change agenda as it relates directly to areas of responsibility. Core to this will be working to digitise Finance as we move rapidly to improve modelling and data visualisation tools, and redesigning core processes such as planning, forecasting and stress testing.
For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $225,000 and $275,000.
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Qualifications
Employment eligibility to work with HSBC in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
You will have significant experience working within financial services industry with significant exposure to senior Finance and non-finance staff
You’ll have proven track record of delivery in are large and complex operating environment including proven ability to meet tight reporting deadlines
You will have experience within retail banking, insurance or asset management industries (either within a business or from audit/transaction services/similar)
Your understanding of the regulatory and legislative framework experience will be valued
Well-developed leadership skills, with experience of team management across a diverse team and demonstrating ability to use initiative and effect change through people in a large matrix organization
Strong analytical skills with a commercial bias and an investigative mindset.
